Kirby’s Steakhouse

Kirby’s Charcoal Steakhouse opened in 1954 as Dallas' first-ever specialty steakhouse. It was owned by B.J. Kirby, whose stately eatery quickly gained a reputation as a great place to celebrate a special occasion. In 1987, after 33 successful years at the original Greenville Avenue location, B.J. decided to retire and close the restaurant.

Nusr-Et Steakhouse Dallas

Nusret Gökçe -- better known as "Salt Bae" -- is a Turkish chef, food entertainer, and restaurateur. He's behind Nusr-Et, a chain of luxury steakhouses across the globe, including this outpost in Dallas.

Old Hickory Steakhouse

Houston's

The casual American eatery, which has been around since 1977, attracts an upscale crowd craving chef-driven comfort fare.
