You know you're in for a high-end afternoon when lobster dominates the brunch menu. Available on Sundays only, the menu showcases a number of egg and steak entrees that have become favorites for those who regularly patronize Park Cities' steakhouse Al Biernat's.

Items of great interest for brunch include the likes of the Maine lobster cobb salad, lobster scramble and lobster & scrambled egg tacos. You'll also find buttermilk pancakes, brioche French toast and, of course, beef tenderloin on the menu.

You won't find the beef tenderloin on the dinner menu, but there is a 12-ounce buffalo tenderloin. There's also a wet-aged New York strip, "cowboy cut" ribeye, veal chop and Red Wattle double bone pork chops. Happy Hour takes place 4-7pm Monday through Friday.

I'm sad to write that my experience at AL Biernat's is extremely disappointing. I've been told on a few occasions that one must visit AL Biernat's. I waited for a special occasion to go, and was extremely let down. It was a Birthday celebration and my expectations were that they would have made the visit more memorable. They did say Happy Birthday when we checked in however our server said nothing and that was the extent of it. Not a visit from the manager, small cake or dessert or anything. In addition the menu was a tad pricey. I spent 159.66 for brunch. My salmon and mac and cheese was good however every other item was sub par. On a final note Taylor or server was very professional, however made the experience feel extremely rushed. It wasn't a pleasant experience and unfortunately I will never return:(

Overall slow service. Food: appetizers (soft and creamy escargot and tortellini, creamy horseradish sauce with flavorful cracker and overpowered jalapeno in the tuna poke dish) were very good. The main courses were very heavy and filling. The rib was a bit dry but the string beans and well-marinated mushroom compensated for this dish. The red snapper dish was very very heavy and creamy. The coconut pie dessert had a thicker and drier crust, which complemented well against the very coconut heavy filling. Service: towards the end of the meal, we needed to wait ~20 minutes after we stopped eating for someone to come checked on us. The service was more attentive at first, the waiters came in about 2-3 times to give us water and bread at the start of the meal. Safety: no mask, social distancing, or any protective measure from the side of the restaurant. Vibe: we were the only table with Asian customer out of 14 tables on the patio. The low music was conducive to making small talks. It was quite hot outside and fan was only limited to certain section. Occasion: we (2) came for dinner at 6:30 PM on a Sunday, last day of Dallas Restaurant week.

High class vibes with 5 star dining! The crab cakes were easily top 3 in Dallas. They were soft and tasty. The martinis were spot on to the cocktail menu. But the best part was the risotto. It was delectable. I shall be returning for a special occasion.

Very delicious food I'm just loving it, I would love to come again. This could ramble on but yeah, go here if you haven’t already. Service is great.This is one of those places you take someone from out of town to. Some of the best lobster I’ve had in the area. I love Al Biernat’s. It’s one of the most consistent high end dining experiences you can have in Dallas. Food quality is always fantastic, I wish they had some more unique/creative dishes but they don’t need to when it’s always so good.

First time here! Celebrating birthdays for brunch. Appreciated the valet Parking for sure. The only reason I rated this place a 4 is due to the website stating business casual but their were patrons in workout attire & baseball hats sitting in the restaurant. I felt so over dressed seeing this. We were greeted & seated quickly.. Our server was not very attentive so our service was just ok. The wedge salad was great! The chicken & waffle was good..Syrup was a little sweet and over powers a little. The drinks were good. It was an "ok" first experience. I would like to try their steak in the future.

A true service restaurant. Some of the best prime rib in the state of Texas. Staff is knowledgeable and attentive. I was introduced to this place by a good friend of mine who has been coming for a long time. Have visited over a dozen times and each time I leave with a great experience. Had the pleasure of spending New Years 22' in this place with the last seating. expensive dining but worth the price for a special occasion.

The food was amazing! We went here for a friend’s birthday dinner. The service was great and they also have valet which accept tips. I recommend this place for brunch because the menu is affordable. I had the chicken and waffles and subbed it for a pancake. The chicken was flavorful and was not dry. It was the perfect portion. You could honestly split the meal in half and eat the rest for later. I can’t wait to go back. We had a blast. Also, the place wasn’t packed, so it was perfect to catch up with friends.

We went for a friends birthday. Our party was the loudest, drunkest and had the most eccentric outfits because we are degenerates. This place is for intimate dining and great for dates. Their staff is amazing and very professional; fantastic hospitality. Since we had a large party I’ve attached several images of sides and entrees. I myself had the 12oz filet and a Caesar’s salad. I’ve had both Caesar’s salad and filet better before so they don’t get all 5 stars. I’d give them a 4.5 but that isn’t allowed in Google. Everything tastes just like it looks.

I love Al Biernat’s. It’s one of the most consistent high end dining experiences you can have in Dallas. Food quality is always fantastic, I wish they had some more unique/creative dishes but they don’t need to when it’s always so good. Prices are reasonable. I absolutely love their whipped sweet potatoes. Need way bigger servings of it. This is one of those places you take someone from out of town to. Some of the best lobster I’ve had in the area. Update: Customer service is by far the single most important aspect of any business. Mr. Diamond turned a not so good experience into a memorable one. We returned for brunch on the patio, and had a wonderful meal while we enjoyed the ambiance. He made it right and I am very grateful.

We ate at this restaurant during restaurant week. It is a fund raiser but would think all patrons would feel special here. The person walking the dining area only greeted 1 table of 4 tables in the section where we were seated. The snapper I ordered was wonderful.. Thank you to the chef!! Desert came, might we be offered coffee…After two cocktails the offering of coffee would have been nice…. But only plates taken away and bill delivered… Next!

This place is outstanding! It's one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. They have an amazing sea bass with risotto that I absolutely love! I haven't had anything here that I don't like. It's place you can go with friends or a place you can go on a romantic evening out. Regardless of why you go I can guarantee you you're going to love this place! Five stars all the way!

Went in for the first time last weekend while visiting Dallas after having lived there for 10 years and never going to the restaurant. I had a wonderful experience. The service was fast and precise. All the steaks came to the table at the perfect temperature. The lobster mac and mushroom risotto were excellent side choices. I will most certainly be back next time I am in town.
