The Dutch - New York
One of the greatest aspects about New York City is that you'll find all sorts of restaurants tucked away throughout the city. One of those places is The Dutch, a classic American eatery located in SoHo.
Owned by Andrew Carmellini, Josh Pickard and Luke Ostrom, The Dutch is in good company. The partners--who operate under NoHo Hospitality Group--are also behind popular eateries Locanda Verde, Joe’s Pub and The Library at The Public, Lafayette and Bar Primi.
Reservations are highly recommended 30 days in advance at The Dutch. Diners may first nosh on items from The Oyster Room, which include a nice selection of oysters, plus jumbo shrimp cocktail, snow crab legs and Little Neck clams.
Entree menu highlights range from seasonal house-made pastas to a number of proteins. Get ready for dishes such as blackened catfish paired with collard greens and grits; jerk lamb chops; hot fried chicken with honey-butter biscuits; and a share-able dry-aged ribeye steak.
