Steve Fields Steak and Lobster Lounge is one of Plano's most popular date spots, and no wonder. Its appealing dim lighting, enticing romantic music from the piano bar and an enviable wine list (You can peruse the selection of bottles along the wine wall if you get a two top) make this an ideal night out.
The menu boasts classic steakhouse fare right from the beginning. Start with appetizers like lobster and crab dip, crunchy lobster pizza or a jumbo pan-seared crab cake to get a feel of what to expect. There's plenty of fresh seafood on the menu--with special attention paid to lobster. Those offerings range from grilled cold-water Australian lobster tail to stuffed lobster fields, a one-and-a-half pounded loaded with shrimp, crawfish and mushrooms.
The main attraction, the prime steaks, don't disappoint either. They're aged for a minimum of 28 days, seasoned with secret, signature spices and broiled at high temperature. Each steak, such as a 22-ounce Porterhouse or 22-ounce signature bone-in center-cut pork chop, is accompanied by a jumbo baked Idaho potato.
Heading to the Lobster Lounge for cocktail hour? You'll find specials 4:30-7pm Monday through Friday, ranging from drink to food deals. Sundays in the lounge are reserved for a deal on prime rib with a jumbo baked potato ($27), plus discounted drinks.
