Wolfgang's Steakhouse - Miami
A former head waiter of the legendary Peter Luger’s Steakhouse struck out on his own in 2004 with his first namesake restaurant on New York's well-heeled Park Avenue.
Wolfgang Zweiner certainly knows the steak business as he worked at the legendary Brooklyn restaurant for more than 40 years. Armed with everything he learned, he's opened eight locations, including Beverly Hills, Tokyo and Miami.
With his downtown Miami location, which opened in 2013, Zweiner carries on the tradition that he brought down from New York, including the famous 28-day, dry-aged Porterhouse for two or more. Dry-aged onsite in the restaurant’s very own aging box, the steak is cooked in a 1,600-degree broiler and served sizzling. Other menu highlights include the broiled jumbo lobster, prime New York sirloin and the grilled Chilean sea bass.
