Rare The Steak House - Little Falls
The name implies the preferred temperature in which they like to cook steaks, but customers are encouraged to order them any way they wish. Rare The Steak House positions itself as a classic offering even though it also appeals to young professionals who congregate in its cocktail lounge right after work.
Rare is also classic in design, with hardwood accents and white tablecloths enhancing its theme. All prime steaks are wet aged a minimum of four weeks and then grilled. They range from a 48-ounce Porterhouse for two to a milk-fed veal rib chop. Selections from the raw bar include oysters from both coasts, colossal shrimp cocktail and a "shellfish extravaganza," a combo of delicacies and the perfect companion to an icy cold vodka cocktail.
Every Monday through Friday, 5-7pm, is happy hour in the bar. That includes discounted drinks and bar bites.
