Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House 5061 Westheimer Rd. Houston

It was our first time dining here at Del Frisco's, and our experience was outstanding! We tried this restaurant for my birthday dinner. We were kinda hesitant at first because we hate driving around the Galleria area. Our server, Chase, was very nice and attentive. Food was superb. We ordered the crispy fried lobster for appetizer and the 22 oz Prime New York Strip. Sides were also excellent. We had the Butter Cake for dessert, and that really hits the spot. We would definitely come back to dine here!

I visited here for my friends birthday dinner while on vacation. We had reservations however we had to wait for our designated table. Our server was really nice and attentive however the food was okay. They had a different chicken dish on the menu however I had to get a different dish because the menu just changed that day. The best part of the dish was the potatoes and green verde sauce. The chicken was alright. It wasn’t that seasoned and I wish it had more char. The asparagus was as expected.

This is a tough post for me because the service (provided by Christopher) was really good. The server was courteous and personable. The low review is because the food frankly was not prepared properly. At high end steak houses I normally order rare steaks as they show how tender the meat actually is. My fillet medallions had no pink in them. The server did offer to replace the dish but I was dinning with my boss and did not want to wait and cause an issue. The flavor of the dish was fine and presentation was fine. The server corrected the issue by offering a free dessert. Just think a steakhouse at this price point could properly prepare a steak.

Our server, Adrian, was patient and professional. I enjoyed that he shared his personal favorites and what he suggest would best pair with customer likes. The pacing was perfect and the food was sent out to perfection. You can tell this is a well “oiled” machine as far as service, preparation, and satisfaction. Ask for Adrian. He will ensure you a lovely time! Thank you for not letting us down. Our server could tell what we desired the most. (He is the one with a most stylish hair cut!)

Another hidden Gem 5 stars Oysters 🦪 delicious super fresh Environment during the day elegant but casual but during the evening more Elegant and fancy so dress properly #1 you need to order is the burger , so far has been the number #1 burger I had. In the world and I have eaten burgers in about 15 different countries and probably 250 restaurants in the USA in my life time and this took the cake ! Second get the lobster 🦞 Mac and cheese 🫕 to die for Third the lobster 🦞 I got a 16oz be ready to pay $130 for that other wise burger is well priced and very accesible And last please try their cocktails they are amazing and delicious. Highly recommend and next time I fly to Huston I am ordering that burger 🍔 Yummy
