Over-sized windows overlook Market Square, eight foot high glass wine cabinets showcase an impressive wine selection, plus natural faux leather and cowhide finishes adorn the space.
The main acts on the menu, of course, are Midwestern prime, dry aged and certified Angus beef, which are seared to perfection in a 1700 degree broiler. There's a 36-ounce Tomahawk, plus 24-ounce prime T-bone and 16-ounce ribeye. The menu also boasts an abundance of sustainable seafood, from serrano-wrapped halibut to Diver scallops.
Side dishes are unconventional and share-able. Guests may choose from truffle lobster broccoli mac and cheese, smoked onion rings and grilled asparagus with shaved egg yolk.
In tandem with its sister cocktail lounge, 1700 Degrees Steakhouse offers signature craft and barrel aged cocktails as well as locally produced beer.
