Emeril's Chop House - Bethlehem
The Sands Bethlehem Resort boasts Emeril's Chop House, a modern concept from renowned celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse. Sleek, with modern accents and a spacious, beautiful dining room, Emeril's also features two front wine cellars and distinct private dining areas. The wine cellars house 2,500 carefully chosen bottles on custom polished steel wine racks. And an adjacent cocktail lounge looks out onto the casino.
The menu, of course, is amped up in true Lagasse style. First, diners should take advantage of appetizers like grilled octopus salad, beef tip risotto or the signature New Orleans-style BBQ shrimp. There's also a raw bar, which is ideal for sharing, and guests may order items a la carte or the grand plateau that includes Maine lobster, gulf shrimp, fresh-shucked oysters and topneck clams.
Steaks and chops range from a 16-ounce prime New York strip to double-cut premium reserve pork chop.
