We had a good meal, and Albert was a most attentive waiter, but can't understand how they got on Wine Spectator's "Best of Awards of Excellence" list. That's why we visited, but must be because it's one of Charlie Palmer's places? Waiter seemed surprised when I asked to see the wine list, after I was surprised it wasn't already on the table. "By the bottle", he asked? He warned us they didn't have some of the wines on the list, supposedly because everyone is having supply issues? Didn't have that problem at Bimini, in the Peppermill hotel. Sure enough, they didn't have 1st wine I chose, and not the next two Albert was going to recommend either. Also, unlike Bimini, there was no sommelier to advise diners either. Bottom line.. nice steaks, but don't go there expecting a stellar wine list. Go to Bimini instead.

I took my friend for his birthday tonight. I had been there before once with a friend as a spur of the moment thing, and one more time with my dad for Father's Day. Charlie Palmer's certainly brought their A game tonight. The entire staff was on point from the person who gives you water and bread - Travis, to the wonderful people who come and stop by to help clear your table as you go, Jacob who packed our orders to go, and of course our lovely server Mona. We started with cocktails I had the S5 which was positively delightful. It's like a muddled strawberry vodka-based drink served in a fancy Martini glass, my friend had the corpse maker, which has a drop of absinthe. For appetizers we enjoyed the scallops, the shishito peppers, and oysters Rockefeller. All three of these were a slice of heaven and completely divine. We did not know what to expect of the shishito peppers but we were pleasantly surprised as they were very flavorful cooked to perfection and not too spicy to the mouth. For our entree and sides we shared a 16 oz ribeye steak, 1 lb of king crab legs, baked potato, potatoes au gratin, creamed spinach, and mushroom medley. We requested the sake medium rare and it came spot on medium rare and melt in your mouth good. We had it with the sauces chimichurri and creamy horseradish. For dessert we ordered the lemonmeyer cheesecake and because it was my friend's birthday we were surprised with a little slice of birthday red velvet cake. Everything was truly exceptional flavor profile wise. The only thing I probably would not order again is the creamed spinach. It's not terrible I just happen to prefer the one I make myself more. And there are so many delicious things to eat here why not choose something I find truly exceptional. To cleanse our palettes we were each provided a piece of dark chocolate. It was so smooth and creamy and decadent. This is definitely a pricier meal in Reno but well worth the money and regards to the quality of food and in regards to the portions you receive along with the beauty of the plating.

Best steak I've had in years! The staff was very friendly and helpful they made me feel right at home💖 The hospitality and service is top notch 👍 Thank you Bryan, he's knowledgeable about all the different steaks they serve. I learned something today😁 I recommend this place! And I am coming back Thank you staff.

Erwyn gave us a fantastic experience. The food was beyond fantastic. It is so refreshing to be waited on by an absolute professional.

My wife and I just finished dining with another couple; friends of ours whom we met for dinner. Service was outstanding and I cannot say enough about the food. While on the higher end of the price scale, if one desires a great dining experience then this is the place to come and enjoy dinner. Our server, Chelsea, was attentive to our needs. She was very knowledgeable about the food and the wine list. Her partner servers and assistants were equally as nice and also attentive to our table. My water glass was never less than one-half full before getting a top-off. The manager, Gary, was very pleasant to interact with and was also quite attentive to our table. If you want to have a true dining experience then I recommend that you eat at this establishment. As said, the prices are on the higher end of the scale but you won’t be disappointed with the food, the service nor the atmosphere. Prices are appropriate as anything of value and quality command a higher scale.

We had an excellent experience. Julian was amazing even as he handled a very rude table next to us. Our waiter was outstanding.

Food was impeccable. Some of the best salads we've ever had. Our Seafood Tower was incredible. Steaks had best seasoning, taste.

The service and servers were great! The cocktails were perfect. My ribeye was delicious and cooked perfectly. My wife's Tenderloin was very salty, but the cut was good. But I expected when going to a nice steak house with $100 meals to have a bit more of an experience. With booth seating for the most part they really pack in the customer's. There is no dress code of any kind and it was very loud. End result, good food and not a great atmosphere. I would have rather gone somewhere else for a nice meal, kind of felt like it was more of a dark cafeteria.

Went here for an early Valentine's day dinner. Steak was decent but the sides were a little disappointing. Pretty small wine selection too. Also I wish the restaurant was more detached from the casino because you can hear loud announcements and cheers every once in awhile.
