Only five minutes away from the Vegas Strip, the Orleans Hotel is no less glitzier with its many attractions, including live entertainment, nightclubs, casinos, and restaurants. New-ish to the property is Alder & Birch, a modern cocktail-and-steakhouse concept costing more than $2 million to build.

Hardwood accents, leather armchairs, a fireplace, ornate ceiling-to-floor windows, and more set the tone. A tiny lounge area is for dining overflow as well as sipping on classic and contemporary cocktails.
For those settling in at the bar, smaller bites like the tuna nachos stack (wonton chips, fresh marinated tuna, avocado, nori, green onion, sesame seeds, chipotle mayonnaise, yum yum sauce), seasonal oysters, and kobe beef meatballs are great for sharing.
There are plenty of steak, chops, and seafood options, plus prime rib. The latter comes in 12 or 16 ounces, is dry aged for 21 days, and arrives to the table with a house salad or soup du jour, and baked potato.
