The Stevens’ menu is a thing of beauty.

To start, there are the classics like shrimp cocktail and calamari. For those who want to try something a little different, though, there’s the tangy Buffalo Cauliflower, fried cauliflower with spicy buffalo sauce and parmesan peppercorn ranch, and Lobster Mac, with cavatappi and three cheeses.

For entrées, there’s a lot of excellent meat and seafood.

In the meat department, it’s all certified Angus, one of the finest breeds available. There’s the filet and New York Strip, of course, but also some unexpected surprises like the USDA prime Baseball Sirloin, the lean and flavorful center of top sirloin, and the fourteen-ounce pork tomahawk from True Bridge, locally sourced from the Midwest, hormone- and antibiotic-free.

If you prefer your protein from under the sea, you’ll want to try ahi tuna or red snapper, beautiful renditions of some of America’s favorite fish. Again, though, if you want to go for something a little out of the ordinary, there’s Pistachio Perch, Lake Victoria fish with a pistachio crust and beurre blanc, or Leslie’s Salmon, lightly blackened with mango salsa.

Of course, if you’re in a more casual mood, there’s pot roast or Bourbon Cherry Short Ribs, as well as a number of vegetable sides including wedge or Caprese salads, roasted vegetables and a platter of portobellos.

Like the classic supper clubs of Wisconsin, Stevens’ is a place to relax, take it all at your own speed, and enjoy some truly comforting dishes in a relaxed atmosphere with some tasty tunes playing the background. You will like it. A lot.
