The Penthouse at Mastro's - Beverly Hills
The Mastro's chain boasts a number of high-end steakhouses across the country, from Arizona to Washington, D.C. But it's the Beverly Hills concept that's all-out luxury.
Dubbed "The Penthouse," the rooftop lounge is situated directly above the classic Mastro's Steakhouse with a luxurious indoor/outdoor setting. The venue is sleek and modern with gorgeous views of the city, and guests may settle in with plush pillows and comfy chairs.
The Penthouse at Mastro’s is ideal for kicking back for cocktails and expensive bottles of wine, or guests may order from the entire steakhouse menu. They may also order items from "sushi selections" like Ahi tuna tostada, curry hamachi sashimi or seared albacore with black truffles. The sushi is developed exclusively for this property by Nick-San, Cabo San Lucas. There is also sake available in four-ounce pours or by the bottle.
Those who prefer to go the red meat route should not be disappointed with the selections at The Penthouse at Mastro’s. There's a juicy 12-ounce bone-in filet. And a double-cut Porterhouse is perfect for sharing. As far as chops, there is herb-roasted chicken, a double-cut pork chop and veal chop.
Seafood lovers will have a choice of fresh selections from the menu. There's Chilean sea bass, Pacific swordfish, twin lobster tails and Alaskan king crab legs.
The Penthouse at Mastro's features quite the bounty of side dishes. Diners may match their steaks or seafood entrees with the famed lobster mashed potatoes as well as gorgonzola mac and cheese, Alaskan King crab black truffle gnocchi or roasted Brussels sprouts.
Guests may order from a premium list of wines by the bottle or choose from featured cocktails like the signature Mastro Martini, lemon-ginger smash or salted caramel martini.
