I had the prime rib sandwich salad and green chili cornbread. Sandwich was excellent. I wasn't a huge fan of the cornbread but it's my mother in laws favorite. Cool old building and excellent service.

Worst dining experience ever. Our waitress was overwhelmed with too many tables. Not the bus girls, management, or bartender stepped in to help. The bartender was rude when I asked for water and a lemonade. He said I have to charge you for the lemonade. I wasn't going to pay for the lemonade. More astonishing that he didn't offer to serve me water. He was not the only one who wouldn't serve us water. I asked one of the bus girls and she said "you have to talk to your waitress." Our appetizer and salad dishes were never removed not even when our entrees arrived. I felt so bad for the waitress. The food was not worth the money we paid. The prime rib and ribs were tough. The tamale looked unappealing as it was so dry. The women's bathroom didn't have paper towels to dry your hands.When I left the bathroom, I couldn't even find a staff member to let them and couldn't even tell our waitress because she was in such a hurry. Such a disappointment. I recommend that you avoid eating there.

This place had great ambiance. Great waitress. Food was good and very reasonably priced. It should be on your check it out list. Nothing fancy just good food at a good price.

Haven't dined here in many years. Just as I remembered it, great food and drinks! The tamale pie was just as good now as it was years ago! I had the prime rib and it was cooked perfectly and the horseradish sauce was a great too! Defiantly recommend.

The place is very antique. Well known for prime rib. That is what the 3 of us got. It was ok. Not fabulous. The potatoes with the works yummy. One of us got fries they did not come out 20 minutes after the steak and food arrived. The tamale pie acceptable but very dry. Portions not large for the price having eaten at other steak house with better quality over the last week's . They have a foul sewage smell that comes from the back kitchen bathroom area that is off putting. Mud pie was good the peach cobbler was under cooked and was doughy. Will be spending my $$ else where in future as it was a disappointment. Very much enjoyed my friends but I brought them with me.
