Arizona is big on cattle drives, especially at dude ranches, but they’re even more into big steaks at Tucson’s best steakhouses.

Here are ten of Tucson’s best steakhouses where you can get a big, beautiful steak, perfectly prepared and presented.

Silver Saddle Steak House satisfies your urge for a large and lovely steak with a twenty-four ounce porterhouse, perfectly aged and mesquite grilled.

Pinnacle Peak serves some “cowboy steaks,” and our favorite is the Big Cowboy, “a huge tenderloin and sirloin for a hunger as vast as the open plains.”

Charro Steak & Del Rey serves a Tucson T-Bone, one pound of grass-fed, house-butchered and mesquite-fired beef perfection.

Jonathan’s Cork is famous for its Cork Prime, a full pound of luscious beef, served with garlic mashed potatoes, outstanding.

El Corral has several different preparations of big, beautiful prime rib, which they recommend you have medium rare with a side of Tamale Pie. We’re in!

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill does steak the best way we know how: over an open fire (try the aged rib eye; you’ll like it a lot).

PY Steakhouse at Casino del Sol has the perfect gift for you after a big win: a twenty-four ounce USDA prime Cowboy Rib, rubbed with whiskey and aged up to 35 days.

7 Ounce Korean Steakhouse presents big meat-centric dishes, grilled tableside, with Asian flair.

Daisy Mae’s Steakhouse serves meat, big meat, like the 32-ounce porterhouse, that comes with a simple salad, baked potato and…Mexican-style beans (hey, it’s Tucson!).

Sullivan’s Steakhouse is a place you know you will get a good steak, and the best steak in the house (our opinion) is the eighteen-ounce Wagyu bone-in strip.
