Greystone The Steakhouse San Diego

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and terrific service! I was here for work dinner last year and returned with my wife as it should be. We had a nice relaxing meal. The staff was friendly, prompt, and accommodating. We brought a nice bottle of wine in with us and were pleasantly surprised when they waived the $35 corkage fee. Please do try Greystone if you are in the area. It is worth the stop!

We had a good experience at the restaurant. We were greeted very cheerfully by Dennis, our Server. He was on the ball continually keeping our water glasses filled. We really enjoyed the steak as it was cooked for perfection. Would recommend for people not too price conscience as it is on the pricier side. .

I have been to Greystone several times for dinner and happy hour. The food is always delicious and the service is top notch. We have pulled the GM aside a couple of times to personally compliment our servers...that's how much of an impression they made! My only sadness is that they pulled the wild boar pasta from the menu, it was my absolute favorite dish there.

Outstanding from start to finish! Drinks, appetizers, entrees, dessert, and aperitif. And the service was fantastic! Our server Jill took such good care of us! Yes it was pricey, but we expected that in the gaslamp district. Such a nice experience for our first time in San Diego.

The service has been amazing. From the door to the end of dinner and every step in between. The food was also incredible. Everything was cooked to perfect. The wine paring was delightful too. This has been one of the best meals I have ever had. I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you for such a great experience!

This steak house is one of a kind. The view and the ambiance were very cool, and the food was very delicious. The prices were affordable, and the staff was very understanding. I will go back here again in the future. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Had an amazing experience at Graystone. Took a large party out and had a set menu. From before I even sat down, I was impressed with Graystone. I booked a large party the day before and they accepted the booking on short notice. They even offered to print our company logos on the menu! The hostess and server were very helpful and attentive, even the manager came by to greet us and ask if everything went ok. For dinner we had a set menu... Started with Oysters on a half shell and Rockefeller style, both tasted great. Also had crab cakes which were very very good. My first couse was Asparagus Soup, didn't know how it would taste but I was surprised by how flavorful and balanced it was. Next I had the Bison Tenderloin which was amazing! It had great, deep flavor and went well with the sauce. I also tried the Miso salmon which tasted nice. Finally, the chocolate mousse cake was good. Overall we had a really great time and will definitely book this again when I'm in town. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. Thank you!!

Sarah the owner is the most pleasant & accommodating owner/manager that I’ve met in a very long time! She understands & embodies customer service! The Ribeye steaks are “to die for” & the service was exceptional! The sides vegetable sides were yummy & the Chocolate Lava Cake was delicious & beautifully presented with a flaming spin! Today we tried several dishes. Starting with the calamari to share. We had chosen elk, chicken, salmon and pasta. All is perfect made. The service is one step ahesd. Good selection of wines, beers, cocktails and soft drinks. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. I only can recommend this location. Prices are higher but its worth the food and service you get!
