O Ya - Boston
To get the real deal experience at O Ya, it's highly recommended to order the grand omakase or standard omakase menu. The extensive, Japanese-style tasting menus consist or 19 and 17 courses, respectively, and most feature unique ingredients and seafood. Think spicy hamachi topped with banana pepper mousse; oysters dressed in watermelon pearls; and Dayboat scallops accompanied by Perigord black truffles.
Opt, of course, for the a la carte menu, if you'd rather choose your dishes. They range from comprehensive nigiri and sashimi selections to authentic Wagyu beef choices such as sake-braised short ribs and a seared petite a5 strip loin.
There are also a number of offbeat dishes to consider. Most showcase Japanese styles and ingredients such as the homemade noodle dishes, tempura and roasted roasted hamachi offerings.
