Of course there is more to Disney World than animated-characters-coming-to-life attractions. Yachtsman Steakhouse is proof of that. It's located in the Epcot Resort Area, and so popular that advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit.
Designed in the spirit of nautical appreciation, the airy dining room’s knotty-pine beams add to the charm of the venue. It's a family-friendly destination, but there's a dress code: Male patrons may wear khakis, slacks, jeans or dress shorts and collared shirts, and female diners are encouraged to wear Capri pants, skirts, dresses, jeans or dress shorts.
Those coming for steak may choose between two options: the signature, 21-day dry aged Porterhouse for two or a Kansas City strip as well as hand-selected butcher cuts of roast prime rib, Black Angus filet mignon or prime rib eye. Non-steak options range from potato and leek-stuffed anelli pasta to wild Alaskan halibut.
High-quality, grain-fed beef is aged in-house and prepared on an oak-fired grill in the open kitchen. Feel your appetite begin to build while you watch butchers hand cut steaks to perfection in the dry-aging room.
