Union Common - Nashville
Nashville's Midtown neighborhood, a bustling area known for its wide selection of trendy restaurants, bars and hotels, also boasts Union Common, which opened in 2014. The classic steakhouse specializes in prime steaks and chops as well as small bites.
Start with share-able appetizers such as butter-poached lobster sliders, broiled oysters or roasted bone marrow. Those looking for selections from the raw bar should appreciate jumbo lump crab, lobster tail or the Midtown platter offering a wide variety of shellfish.
Steaks may also be shared, and it's a great way to try different styles. Diners are recommended to request them to be presented sliced for the group. There's a 28-ounce Porterhouse and 16-ounce New York strip, for example.
Abstaining from red meat? There are a number of fish and fowl entrees such as pan-seared salmon and chicken confit.
