Andiron Steak & Sea - Las Vegas
T-Bones Chophouse is at the Red Rock Casino, but not too far away is Andiron Steak & Sea, a neighborhood-focused restaurant specializing in steakhouse fare and seafood. The restaurant is also located within the Downtown Summerlin Mall, so following a long day of shopping it's an ideal place to wind down. Andiron is from Las Vegas restaurateurs Kim Canteenwalla and Elizabeth Blau, and it celebrates the elegant contrast of the classic with the contemporary in a bright, inviting space.
All steaks are charred over an apricot-wood burning grill for optimum flavor. There are chef's cuts (grass fed filet, prime New York strip), "neighborhood favorites" (Wagyu skirt steak, ribeye cap) and bone-in classics (dry-aged New York strip, Tomahawk for two). Sides are chef driven and thoughtful, from the wood-fired asparagus to the mac and cheese waffle.
Those seeking seafood fare should appreciate the range, which includes the likes of Maine lobster salad, Alaskan halibut and Scottish salmon.
