Ruth's Chris Steak House Seattle

I had tickets to a show at the Paramount, which is only a block away from Ruth Chris's. Made a 6:00 reservation, checked in and was seated at 5:50. At both the reception and with our server we said we had to leave the restaurant at 7:15, as there was a very lengthy Covid document screening at the theater. We ordered our drinks and our dinner at about 6:10. The drinks and wine came punctually. At the table next to ours we watched our server spill two plates of condiments, barely missing two of the people at the table. At 7:00, with no entree in sight, we inquired about our food, and that we had to leave in 15 minutes. "It's on it's way" was the response. We left the restaurant at 7:20, with NO DINNER and very strong words with the manager. At the theater we found two small sacks of potato chips to get us through a two and half hour show. If you are going to the Paramount for a show, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT EATING AT RUTH CHRIS STEAK HOUSE IN SEATTLE. I wish there was a way to give them minus stars.

Good service staff that tend to all your needs. Wine selection is decent. New York steak was a bit tough even at medium rare. The filet was very good though. Asparagus with hollandaise sauce was good, but nothing to really brag about. The lobster Mac & Cheese is absolutely perfect. An extra sharp cheese with a strong bite perfectly counters the sweetness of the lobster. Definitely a must have. Creme brulee was the best part. So delicate & rich it had me salivating at the thought of the next bite. It was heavenly. Seating is comfortable & the atmosphere is relaxed. Cocktails are strong. We spent $302 before tip on our 2 steaks with crusts added, 2 glasses of wine, 2 cocktails, 2 sides, & one creme brulee.

The staff was extremely friendly. There was a delay with our reservation. We didn’t even mind but they went out of their way to make it up to us anyway. We had stuffed mushrooms ,crab cakes and spicy shrimp appetizers, all delicious. My first bite of my NY strip was unpleasantly charred and salty. Every bite after that was tender, buttery and delicious. Cocktails were very good as well. My huge issue with this place was the sides. Lobster bisque was pretty bland, au gratin potatoes were an incomprehensible disaster and I’m fairly certain the garlic mashed came from a box. I enjoy cooking at home, no training or experience in a professional kitchen . That being said I’d be happy to pop in and teach the Chef(s) how to make tasty potatoes. Give me a week and I could likely teach them how to make a decent bisque too

First of all, let me clarify that I am from Argentina, a country known for its meat quality. From that perspective, I can say that Ruth's has nothing to envy from the best Steak houses in Argentina. The quality of the meat and other dishes is excellent and the service from all the staff is amazing, making feel you really confortable and well served. To summarize, you are not only paying just for food, you are paying for a experience.

Went to Ruth's Chris last night for dinner. And it was delicious as usual. They really made the night with surprises and touches that they can do. Shall return this is and has been one of my favorite places to eat.

Came in on Easter Sunday, ordered appetizers, steak, and desert. Absolutely phenomenal food! Delicious! And our server was fun and enjoyable, and did a great job too! He was able to to engage with us in conversation and it was just an all around great restaurant. Thank you Jamele for a wonderful experience! 😃

My husband and I made reservations here as a treat to ourselves on a fairly short notice trip to Seattle after several weeks of trying life circumstances, and boy was it a treat! ComicCon is going on downtown so we sat by the window and enjoyed watching the participants go by while eating our meal, we called it "dinner and a show!" Management: please hear me when I tell you that Nelson was INCREDIBLE. He is kind, funny, attentive and exactly what we didn't know we needed on this trip. The dinner was fabulous, as always, but the service we received from Nelson was beyond compare. I love a good steak, but I also love a person who approaches their work with joy and kindness, and treats people he's just met like old friends. Eating at your restaurant was a pleasure, but he takes the cake!

Ordered a complimentary grilled shrimp plus house Salad. Description says 6 pieces of shrimps. First bar tender says oh we usually do this when you order steak but we can do it for you. When they bring a salad, I only see 2 pieces of shrimps…. I did not feel comfortable to ask why 2 when your menu says 6.

Great service in a fine facility. Food excellent. Pricey but worth it - ideal for special occasions. Easy parking.

The meal was remarkable! We ordered the new york strip with 2 sides of lobster tail. We also got brussel sprouts, potatoes au gratin, and garlic mashed potatoes. Everything tasted amazing. The potatoes au gratin had to be our absolute favorite. The cheese sauce and potatoe combination was really tasty. The lobster was really fresh and enjoyable. The new york strip was very tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection.
