Former Broncos coach Mike Shanahan gets a touchdown for his eponymous steakhouse located in the heart of Denver. Shanahan's is a great example of a contemporary steakhouse, from its sprawling interior to rich leather booths and chairs, indicating that diners will experience luxury.
It's certainly heaven for football fans, who can take photos with Shanahan’s Lombardi trophies from his Super Bowl victories as they wait for their tables. They're located in the bar, of course, which also offers a number of large plasma screens to watch the news, sports and business.
The restaurant's design is simple and sleek, exactly what you'd expect of a modern steakhouse. During the winter, diners jockey for position near the fireplace. And during warmer month, premium seating is outdoors.
The menu features USDA prime steaks, seafood flown in daily, Colorado-grown, organic produce, a raw bar and a children's menu.
