Capitol ChopHouse - Milwaukee
This Midwest-based steakhouse chain boasts a Bloomington, Minn. outpost as well as Wisconsin locations in Lake Geneva, Madison and Milwaukee. Capitol ChopHouse is everything one would expect in a traditional steakhouse. There's USDA prime beef on the menu, and a number of seafood and poultry entrees are guaranteed to be favorites for the non-steak eater.
Beef, of course, is the main attraction at Capitol ChopHouse, and premium cuts are on offer. From a 16-ounce, bone-in New York strip to an 18-ounce, bone-in house-cut ribeye, the selections are all Angus beef and sourced from Midwestern farms. Diners are encouraged to enhance their steaks with accompaniments like brandy peppercorn, king crab legs or red-wine demi glace. Also good to know is that prime rib is offered every Friday and Saturday.
There are plenty of seafood options for the non-meat eater. Choose from salmon with crispy kale, Ahi tuna in a soy-miso vinaigrette, or scallops with sweet corn risotto, Applewood bacon and pea tendrils.
