Guests are treated to a truly rustic experience at the Barn Door Restaurant, a steakhouse-focused concept that's been around for almost 70 years in San Antonio's Uptown Broadway neighborhood. Throughout the space, you'll find accents reminiscent of a horse barn, from a porcelain jockey welcoming guests at the host stand to an abundance of vintage hard wood accents.

It's important to note, for those ordering steaks, that the in-house butcher shop hand cuts each steak and ages them for the best flavor profiles. Each steak is broiled over mesquite and charcoal fire, and choices include a bone-in rib-eye, New York strip, porterhouse, medium filet and tenderloin.
There are also a host of seafood entrees available at The Barn Door. Choose from crispy catfish fillets, a fried seafood platter or mesquite jumbo shrimp. Diners may have the option to blacken any of the seafood offerings. Additional non-steak entrees include chicken fried chicken, creamy herb pasta and the signature burger, which consists of a lean, chopped sirloin patty that's grilled and served between house-made buns. .
The burger is also available during lunch, which features additional sandwiches like a tenderloin sandwich, classic Reuben and chicken burger.
