Truluck's - Houston
With approximately 10 locations in Florida and Texas, Truluck's positions itself as the type of restaurant to celebrate special occasions. It boasts a traditional steakhouse setting, which attracts a healthy dose of business diners as well as after-work revelers.
The menu at the Houston is comprised of Florida Stone crabs (when they are in season) and of course the usual steaks and chops that are served with a choice of Parmesan mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus, garlic wilted spinach, sautéed green beans or rice pilaf. Meat highlights include the center-cut filet, prime New York strip and Angus all-natural churrasco steak. A gluten-free menu offers a number of options as well, such as seafood disheds, steamed asparagus and fresh macerated berries.
Happy hour happens 4:30-6:30pm daily in the stone crab lounge, with revelers enjoying half-price cocktails, featured wines and appetizers. There is also nightly live music.
