Number 13 - Galveston
Based on Galveston Island, this seafood and steakhouse focused eatery pays homage to brothers Jean and Pierre Lafitte, who acted both as spies for Spain and revolutionaries for Mexico. They were collectively known as "Number 13," and owners say the restaurant was born from a vision of what life on Galveston Island once was like when the brothers were alive.
The restaurant has been designed to include culturally rich pieces, luxurious details and the perfect mix of upscale dining and casual elegance. The steaks, which are dry-aged in house for 28 days, are all cooked at 1,600 degrees and include offerings like a 16-ounce ribeye, 14-ounce New York strip and 18-ounce Kansas City strip. Seafood choices range from local red snapper to shrimp & grits.
Number 13's wine locker program was started as a way to share the restaurant's passion for wine with guests. Members of the program have access to a private wine locker, monthly discounts on select premium wines and invitations to private tastings and events. The program features three levels, all with varying prices and amenities.
