Number 13 Galveston steakhouse

Fantastic service and the food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was actually phenomenal. The mixed grill with crab cake, scallops (they are huge), and the steak medallion. Wow, crab cake probably our favorite, but the steak and scallops! The Kraken dish is the one with the Spanish octopus. Wow, wow, the sauce and the soft octopus and the sauce with the king crab underneath. Only thing any of you should be thinking about is get yourself in here now.

Would definitely recommend this place. They are dog friendly they even brought our boy a water bowl. They have a patio to eat on with amazing veiws. The food was amazing. We ordered oysters on a half shell, Cesar salad, fish tacos, steak tacos, cheese burger and fries. Very filling. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Mabel, Sam, Brandon,and Scott all took great care of us. Perfect Mother’s Day treat. Presentation was awesome and the bar drinks were top notch. The cowboy steak was so huge, too much even for two. The drinks are really too-notch, the pineapple infused vodka is something you definitely want to try. It’s a great place for a special occasion or a regular night. **Now on my third visit and I can confirm consistently outstanding service, food, drinks and atmosphere. It is the absolute best place on the island I have visited hands down. The bar staff is so knowledgeable about the wine and pretty much everything on the menu. I really can’t recommend this place enough. *pro tip sit at the bar.

Anniversary dinner. I asked for the medium sized bone in rib eye. Got charged for the cowboy bone in rib eye. It was so tough I could hardly eat any of it. My wife’s dinner was good. Sides were good. Service was adequate. Complained about steak, which I really never complain, and they gave me 50% off of the steak. I won’t be going back.

We sat outside on a Saturday evening and felt the breeze coming off the water. The place was very busy. The portion sizes are very large. We had the tuna poke appetizer, and it was more than enough for the two of us. The amount and quality of the seafood in each dish is astounding and contributes to the overall price, but it is worth it. We ordered the lobster mashed potatoes, and the claw meat was very plentiful and huge. I had the seafood pasta which was easily the best seafood pasta I've ever eaten anywhere in the world - the lobster tail and claws combined with the Alaskan king crab was the most seafood I've ever had in entree - I was not able to finish my entre. I cannot believe we just found this restaurant after living in the area for 23 years. If you are dining on a budget, this may not be the place for you, but if you value incredibly high-quality food, generous portions and great ambience, then Number13 will be your special place to dine when you are on Galveston island.

It's a very pretty place to eat dinner, we ate this past Saturday evening for our anniversary.. that being said I did not like our service. He was spending way more time with the time next to us just because we're young I don't know... But we ordered our food with our drinks no appetizer the table next to us didn't get there till after us. . they got told the chef special and everything and we're offered refills on their drinks, he kept passing our table I had to flag him down to ask for a drink. They ordered there food after us and got there's 10 minutes before us. I would understand if they only got seafood that barely takes time to cook but they got steak as well. It did not make since at all no apologies or your food will be out shortly.. the food is way over priced for the quality! The steaks were basic fillets the grouper was frozen it was not fresh. Paying 200$ plus tip I would have expected more. The next day we had terrible stomach issues I'm very disappointed and will never be back.

Absolutely delicious! The grouper was so tender and flavorful, as was the filet. The pick three is a great option as well. Some of the best smoked salmon we’ve had. Wine was great selection too. Will definitely go back

Beautiful place for dinner. Good menu, great service, upscale with casual vibe, love the marina views, great outdoor patio’s. The bar area is really nice. They serve warm popovers with the meal which was a nice treat. Portion sizes are good as my wife and I split a filet, salad and baked potato and it was plenty to eat. They charge $5 to split the meal which I found annoying. Overall, excellent place.

This place never disappoints, nice atmosphere, good service and great food. Delicious salads and side dishes. The steaks are cooked just right and flavor is perfect. The only complaint I would have is the oysters… there’s better in the area. But I will definitely be back to 13 again.
