B&B Butchers & Restaurant

B&B Butchers & Restaurant - Houston

There's so much guests can appreciate about B&B Butchers & Restaurant, a steakhouse concept that's seemingly thought of everything they'll need. It's especially cool that the restaurant offers what it's dubbed Rare Force One, a custom-designed Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van that provides complimentary transportation for diners.

It's meant for diners who need rides between the restaurant and downtown theaters as well as NRG Stadium on Sundays. The luxury van features comfortable leather seats, WiFi and outlets to plug in their phones. It's available daily.

Another cool offering is B&B's Booze & Bites Social Hour. From 3 to 7pm daily, guests may indulge in the chef's selection of artisan cheeses and charcuterie; mini beef Wellingtons and crab cakes; fried oyster, beef or meatball Parmesan sliders; pizzas or deli snacks.

There's also brunch, lunch and dinner, where B&B aims to shine. There's so much meat on the menu that a hardcore carnivore's head is certain to spin.

It's highly recommended that diners start off with a slab of bacon--and there are four different selections. Choose from a sizzling thick cut bacon, house-smoked lamb bacon, and the chef's signature version topped with crumbled

blue cheese and truffle-infused honey.

After that, diners have some big decisions to make. If they're there for steak, they can choose from classic, cellar cuts, Gearhart Ranch Wagyu or dry-aged USDA prime offerings. Cellar cut steaks, for example, are rare, exclusive and have limited availability. They range from an A5 Wagyu tenderloin from Japan that's served tableside on a pink Himalayan salt block to a 55-day dry-aged prime ribeye. On the USDA prime side, there is a 40-ounce Porterhouse for two.

Non-meat eaters also have some good choices. There's the pasta primavera with fresh roasted vegetables or B&B's signature house salad with a portabella filet, 3 onion jam, tomatoes, crumbled blue cheese and balsamic vinaigrette.

Other signature dishes are the chicken-fried pork chop, double-cut Colorado lamb chops, and bone-in chicken shank. There are more than 20 wines by the glass, a number of signature cocktails and two cocktails on tap at B&B.
