Old Hickory Steakhouse - Grapevine
The immense structure of the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center boasts a number of dining and drinking establishments under its roof. There's all things Italian at Zeppole Coastal, barbecue, beer and sports viewing at Texan Station, and burgers, salads and wraps at seasonal pool grill Paradise Springs.
Old Hickory Steakhouse, of course, is a bit more formal than its neighbors as its dining room offers the rich atmosphere of a Texas wine cellar. The menu showcases fine cuts of beef, fresh seafood and an extensive wine list. Many of the steaks and ingredients are locally grown, such as grassfed beef tenderloin, prime cowboy ribeye and reserve premium beef cut of "The Texan.
The upstairs wine bar hosts the unique enomatic wine tasting system, which allows guests to sample a variety of rare wines from around the world in one-, three- and five-ounce pours.
