Ferrari’s Italian Villa & Chop House Grapevine steakhouse

Gosh, I really hate to write this review. However, this experience was so VERY bad. I really would be doing an injustice not to share what happened. My boyfriend loves this restaurant. He takes many of his clients to eat here. On Saturday night, we called in a takeout order for Spaghetti Pizza. He set an alarm for the timeframe they stated it would be ready. A few minutes after the alarm went off, he headed to pick it up. When he got there the order had not even been started. He went to the other side of the restaurant and called a friend while he waited. He returned 10 minutes later, and nobody knew about the order. He waited another 10 minutes and checked again. The order still was not ready. Of course, he was frustrated by this time. The manager came out and asked him to leave. He told her that he came to the restaurant all the time. She said that she had never seen him. Well, do we need to bring in credit card bills? Because he has been there more times than I can count! I was dressed for bed, I had to put on my clothes and go pick up the order. The waitress said the order was behind the bar. There was a miscommunication problem. They were super busy and short staffed. Truly, I understand being busy and short staffed. I don't understand being rude. The only reason that I did not give this one-star rating, is they did make the order complimentary. I am not sure my boyfriend will ever return. The sad part is the food is good. They also have great entertainment. However, bad service just doesn't cut it!

Not all that for dang sure! Drove past the place for years Finally decided to try it last night after reading some of the reviews. Reserved a table. And ready for some Italian fare. Stood in lobby for ten minutes, three people walked up and asked if we had been helped. Of which we have not and were told someone else would be there in a minute. More time went by and finally got a seat with an explanation that they were short staffed. Which can be understood if that was the case as several of the staff standing around which was frustrating. Our server was great. Way over priced. Food was good, did not leave us taking about it after we left. Want to be in the Bob’s or Perry’s class of restaurant and not even close. We have tried it, don’t see us ever going back. Gut tells me people thinking they are getting great Italian food or steak because of the price. The steak was similar to outback. Lasagna was good, nothing special that would say we had to go back. Save your money. Go to cafe Italia down the street. They have great service, fantastic food and they appreciate your business.

Pretty good food and decent service but kitchen is super slow. The first time we visited there was a huge delay in getting our food but the waiter gave us a free appetizer and we thought no big deal. The second time we visited it was much of the same. We were having a good time but when the food takes forever to come out of the kitchen it kills the vibe.

Staff was friendly, but food was bland and basic at best. Which wouldn't have mattered so much, but the prices were very high. We've been to much nicer Italian restaurants that make their own pasta and charge less. I have no idea why this place has such high reviews. This place makes the Olive Garden seem like a upscale restaurant. Do yourself a favor and skip this one!

Terrible service, many time things like waiting for my tea to be refilled for over 45 min. Food is okay, for the money go elsewhere. Really sad because they have the atmosphere down pat. Plus if you have a large party they require credit card to reserve and don’t tell you when making the reservation but call a couple hours before to let you know if you want to keep it it is required. With a party of 10 you can’t just change and they know this. In summary, atmosphere 5 star. Service 1, food 4, value 1. Pick somewhere else. There are many better places nearby at this price.

Superb dining experience in a lovely, quaint and warm atmosphere. Heather created such a beautiful evening for myself and guest by sharing her professional and dear authentic self. Additionally, she extended key recommendations of menu items and select red wines. We have discovered a new favorite dinner location.

First time customers. I found Ferrari’s to be easy to find with a caring, friendly staff. Staff took the time to get to know us a little bit and they were patient with us in explaining specials and the menu in general. Heather was amazing and really made our visit enjoyable. Food was excellent and fresh. Wine selection was out of this world. Thanks so much for making us feel like family.

The ricotta ravioli was great but everything else was below average. The decor, service, appetizers, dessert, was all less than average. I felt like I walked back in time to 1995.
