Bob's Steak and Chop House - Grapevine

Bob’s Steak & Chop House's original location opened in 1993 in Dallas. To date, the company boasts 10 outposts with each offering a distinct personality. This outpost is located on historic Main Street, just north of State Highway 114 West. It's also convenient to area hotels and only minutes from DFW Airport.

All steaks and chops are served with a glazed carrot, plus a choice of baked potato, smashed potatoes or skillet-fried potatoes topped with sautéed onions and peppercorn gravy. The meat offerings are hand-cut and selected by the chef. And those choosing to eat non-meat entrees have a nice choice of options, from cold water lobster tails to one half roasted duck topped with green peppercorn sauce.

There are additional locations outside of Texas in Tuscon, San Francisco and Nashville.

Bob’s was a fantastic place to celebrate our anniversary. We hadn’t been to this location before, but it was clearly meant to be for a special night when we ran into Kayla as our server. She had been a favorite server at another Southlake spot and we were so happy to see her again here. Love a place where you can have an amazing meal with a genuine person helping you for the evening. Can really tell this place operates as a team with multiple people checking in and helping one another as needed. Also notably NOT short staffed like other places. Food is great and service is top notch. Thanks Kayla! We will be back :)

I was really excited to come here after reading good reviews. I was from out of town on business by myself. It was also very busy which was a good sign. I sat at the bar, and I was served in a reasonably fast. Service was good. Manhattan was excellent. I ordered the bone-in strip steak med-rare with blue cheese topping. I came here for the steak. The steak came out under seasoned, under seared, and the blue cheese topping was just too heavy. Not only that, but the steak was very chewy and the fat was not seared at all. I was very disappointed for a $60 steak. The best part about this meal was the free bread and butter, unfortunately.

One of the best dining experiences our family has ever had. The general manager came around to our table multiple times to check on us. He made you feel like you were dining with family. The wait staff was top notch and the food was amazing. Will eat there every time I’m back in town.

I sat down with a dear friend for dinner tonight at the Grapevine location. We were met with smiling faces and very attentive staff. Our glasses were never empty, and our server, Eric was ON POINT. We got exactly what we wanted the way we wanted it. He was such a gentleman, and very knowledgeable. From the apps, to the salads, to the steaks, to the cakes, it was all done TO A T. We'll be seeing our new friends at Bob's again very soon. Thank you!!!

Celebrated our tenth anniversary with a delicious meal! We absolutely love the atmosphere and service here. We shared the bone-in ribeye cooked medium and it was sliced for us to enjoy! We also had a cold water lobster tail each with smashed potatoes! The raspberry lemon drop martinis were very good! We ended the night with crème brûlée and took home chocolate and carrot cake!

This place was out of this world. My prime rib was cooked to perfection and the bacon wrapped shrimp was just amazing. From the garlic mash to the spinach with mushrooms to the carrots to the onion rings. Just a wonderful dinner. Also had a old fashioned, I don’t know who made it but it was freakin great. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and great food.

My dad and I came here while on a business trip. Whitney was our server and she made the meal. She was amazing and very nice and attentive. I had the ribeye and my dad had the Chilean sea bass. In honor of my 21st birthday which just passed, I had a glass of 21 year old scotch. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

I was there for 1 night with my mom for vacation and it was the best evening ever! The food is amazing! Monty is the best host I've ever had and Chase is an amazing waiter. We felt so special there! Looking forward to next time!

This place is awesome all the way around. We are celebrating our 4th year anniversary. Superb,!!! If you like steak , u will love this place. Steak was like butter, sides were yummy. We got desserts free....chocolate marble cheese cake with amaretto syrup. Go see Bob ,you will love it...every one is nice polite....

We were delayed with our flights and stayed over in a nearby hotel. Group of 8 was accomodated for dinner. This place does amazing steak. Excellent choice of beers. Very good service. Will definitely go here again if I'm in the area and look forward to trying more of the menu. Free parking out the back of the restaurant.

Way overpriced for the quality. I've had better steaks at Outback. Ribeye was tough and seemed to have a lot of tendons. The carrot cake was good. Service was excellent, though.

They start you with amazing bread. Wine list is great. Steaks are incredible. Carrot is flavorful all the way through. Try the peanut butter and chocolate brownie with ice cream sundae to finish. This place was outstanding. Andrew was a great server. Highly recommend.

We went here for a large family party. We had a private room, which I loved. It made the evening feel so special. The lighting was dim, but comfortable. The food was amazing! Everybody loved their dish. I am a nursing mom whose baby has a milk and soy allergy. It has been difficult to find anywhere to eat. But the kitchen was accommodating and customized some things for me. I took both my six month old and my two year old. They both loved it. The highchairs were very clean and buckles worked. An expensive place, but loved it.

I'm a big fan of Bob's. The steak is always great. The servers are attentive. In fact, this last time I went, the server introduced himself to my daughter, which she loved. It made her feel special. Definitely a great place to go for dinner. Parking can be limited, if you don't use valets, but you can park in the street behind the restaurant.
