Lonesome Dove Western Bistro - Austin
Native Texan Tim Love has received numerous awards and accolades since opening Lonesome Dove Western Bistro in 2000. He's Fort Worth’s first chef invited to cook at the famed James Beard House in New York, plus he has gained national media recognition from the likes of CBS This Morning, Wine Spectator, Food & Wine, Southern Living, Esquire and The New York Times. He's also appeared on The Chew, Iron Chef America and Top Chef Masters.
The original location is based in Fort Worth’s Historic Stockyards District, and the Austin outpost is situated in the downtown area. The menu reflects classic Southwest cuisine that's been accented by modern techniques. Items on the menu range from a selection of hand-cut steaks and seafood to dishes such as Wagyu Tomahawk, and game like kangaroo carpaccio, Rocky Mountain elk ribeye and rattlesnake.
Highlights of the non-meat dishes include Colorado trout and halibut EnPapillote.
