Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse - Philadelphia
The Boston-based steakhouse chain brings its Italian-inspired theme to Philly. This outpost is situated on the second floor in the historic Provident Bank Building just off fashionable Rittenhouse Row.
Davio's specializes in classic steakhouse fare as well as Northern Italian dishes like tagliatelle bolognese and squid ink spaghetti with shrimp, Calabrese salami, green chilis and olive oil. Most ingredients are made by hand.
The menu also consists of many prime steak offerings. Highlights range from an eight-ounce flat iron steak to 16-ounce center cut veal rib chop. And for those who prefer non-steak options, steak and chicken dishes include the likes of grilled Mahi Mahi, jumbo shrimp and roasted free-range chicken.
Other important highlights: brunch every Sunday, no corkage fee on Sundays, and a two-course power lunch for $26 Monday through Friday.
