RingSide Steakhouse - Portland

One of the biggest draws to RingSide Steakhouse is the early-bird special: a daily, three-course menu that's $40 before 6pm or $50 after. It includes the choice of surf and turf (Certified Angus beef, roasted shoulder tender and fried prawns), Oregon-free range "brick" chicken or wild king salmon.

More great dining deals happen during happy hour for those looking for casual bites. Choose from options such as the house ground cheeseburger, braised beef quesadilla and cracker-crusted fried oysters.

RingSide's steaks are hand cut and dry-aged in one of Portland’s only on-premise dry-aging rooms. They range from a 14-ounce, bone-in filet mignon to a 34-ounce Porterhouse for two.

Excellent steak restaurant! It’s my family’s go to celebration place. I’ve always had excellent steaks at this place but this time, the prime rib was very chewy and very dry. It was almost medium when asked for medium rare. The onion rings you can order as an appetizer have a large portion size. One dollar more and you go from medium to the large size. We got two large orders for a group of 7 and we had a lot left over. They were wonderful. The salads are great as well. We were celebrating birthdays and they gave us free desert. Do check this place out. I’m sure this was a fluke but I don’t know if this is a new trend at this place. The photos are if the prime rib. One is of the 12 oz and one of the 24 oz off menu requested size.

We love Morton’s and El Gaucho, but our go to steakhouse for special occasions is Ringside. From the cocktails to starters to steak to dessert, everything is delicious. The service is the best, especially Colin and Jodie. The prime rib special on Mondays is an amazing deal.

This is one of our favorite special occasion go to places. Prime rib is the best too-so tasty with fresh horse radish. The onion rings are awesome. David and Colin have always been awesome! We will miss David! This is an update from 8/2022. We went for prime rib on Monday and we did the pre-fixe meal for the first time. It was spectacular and lived up to all our expectations! Jody our server was also incredible and our experience for my husband’s birthday was memorable!
