Bob's Steak & Chop House - Franklin
This Texas-based steakhouse chain is exactly what you'd expect from the Lone Star State. Everything's unapologetically over-sized, from side dishes like the signature glazed carrots to USDA prime steaks. Each location showcases a distinct personality, with the Nashville outpost displaying vintage microphones to emphasize its title as Music City as well as framed images of historic landmarks.
All steaks at Bob's are hand selected and consist of premium cuts. Choices include a nine-ounce or 12-ounce filet, 18-ounce ribeye, 22-ounce bone-in ribeye, and 14-ounce New York strip. All entrees are served with a glazed carrot and choice of baked potato, smashed potatoes or skillet fried potatoes.
There are plenty of non-steak entrees also available at Bob's. Choose from roasted Nashville-style hot chicken, Maryland-style crab cakes, and broiled jumbo shrimp scampi.
And the dessert menu here is noteworthy because everything is made in-house. Choices are also plentiful, from a classic bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream and Grand Marnier caramel sauce to bourbon-infused pecan pie.
