The Avenue Steak Tavern - Grandview Heights
Boasting a classic New York tavern vibe, this Cameron Mitchell restaurant opened in early 2016. The Avenue is a concept ideally melding the classic and contemporary steakhouse, offering hardwood accents, signature entrees and craft cocktails.
Appetizers are mostly seafood oriented. Guests may choose and share such favorites as oysters on the half shell, creamed pickled herring and shrimp cocktail. Steaks and chops range from a 12-ounce New York strip to a 20-ounce Porterhouse, and all arrive with a salad and side dish.
For those looking for non-meat options, there is plenty from which to choose. Guests may nosh on sauteed branzino, Atlantic salmon or linguine and clams. A new happy hour offering in the tavern features discounted alcoholic beverages and smaller bites such as shrimp grilled cheese and white cheddar burger sliders.
