So this will be a long one... Short answer is this place is very good. The carrot/chocolate cake are the best thing on the menu full stop and in addition the best value. We had the 8 ounce filet and 16 ounce bison rib eye. The bison was very good, but didn't have any complexity that warranted the price tag. The filet was as soft as butter, but cooked inconsistently. Half was medium half was rare. We didn't mention it as we were (you guessed it) hallway done with the filet before we noticed. The sides pictured are the jalapeno potatoes that I had read reviews about in the past and the tempura green beans. The green beans were incredible, but the potatoes were disappointing at best. They were cheesy, tasted of jalapenos, but the potato was barely present and the flavors weren't homogenous. Additionally when I've had any version of scalloped potatoes in the past they've always been broiled to a degree and that was not the case with ours. The crab bisque, charcuterie board, and crab cakes were to die for. Lastly the floor under our table had old food under it, which was just a bad touch. Ultimately a good experience, but there were some things missing on the quality vs price that left us feeling 5 stars wouldn't be accurate. Service was outstanding, and I can't say enough great things about Max!

Unfortunately, the food isn't consistent in quality and flavor. At times, it is delicious. However, I had lobster there and it had a very bad taste; it didn't taste like lobster. Another time, I ordered a cheeseburger and it had so much sodium in it that I requested a different one. The second cheeseburger was mushy rather than meaty. I haven't gone back since those two experiences.

Enjoyed dinner and drinks at the bar. All our food was delicious and service was top-notch. Franco made us feel welcomed and appreciated - contributing to an enjoyable evening.

I was here for the restaurant week and ordered the carrot cake for my third course. Gross! It taste like oil infused oil and sugar. It wasn’t like any carrot cake I’ve ever had. The steak was delicious the bread and the mash potatoes were delicious. Ohhh and those green beans taste like a handful of grass from underneath patio deck. Crunchy unflavored string beans.

A first time experience that was absolutely and unexpectedly fantastic. The service was top-notch (notably Greg in the bar area) and the food was A+. While we reside in German Village, we will be returning soon. A great surprise.

I would give no stars if possible. A few colleagues and I went out for what we hoped would be a nice meal. Our server, Josh did not want to wait on us in the beginning. He commented to the host before we were seated. Before placing our order, he proceeded to tell us the kitchen would close in 15 minutes. I asked his recommendation on wine but I did not want a dry wine. I ordered what he suggested. Once we ordered and salads were delivered, the salad order was not correct. We then proceeded to let the waiter know if the mistake in which he then argued with one of my colleagues. He told us he didn’t make mistakes because he had It written down. He then huffed at another colleague because she wanted to order a salad as well. My wine came and It was dry after clearly stating I didn’t want dry wine. I then ordered a Cherry Vodka Sour. Instead of telling me his bartenders didn’t know how to make It, they concocted some mixture. When It was brought to the table, we mentioned that It should have grenadine in the drink in which It did not. Josh then snatched It from the table and took It around the corner to “add grenadine”. We were sitting at a table at the bar, but he went somewhere else. To top things off, he ran my card for my bill, brought our checks back but did not give me mine, “corrected” his charges, charged me more, and ran my card a second time. When questioned he told me the only way to correct this issue was to run my card again. Absolutely NOT! I do NOT recommend this restaurant because of the service. They were not short staffed so there was no excuse. Training on proper service is definitely needed. I will be contacting my bank to deny charges and a reimbursement will be made. By far the worst experience to ruin our night.
