Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse - Cleveland
The Hyde Park Restaurant Group is behind Jekyll's Kitchen, ML Tavern, Stack City Burger Bar and most notably the Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse. Its original location opened in 1988 in Upper Arlington, which is five miles from The Ohio State University campus and only 10 minutes from downtown. There are six additional outposts in Ohio, as well as locations in Florida, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
The celebrity and local personality magnet is known to be the "see and be seen" destination and it has everything to do with the food as well as the happy hour in the bar. Steak offerings come in a variety of classic and Noveau styles, including steak a la Oscar, steak au Poivre and Tournedos au bleu. Happy hour martinis, cocktails and bar plates start at $5 in the bar.
This Cleveland outpost is located in the heart of the central business district, within walking distance of Public Square, The Horseshoe Casino, and hotels such as the Ritz-Carlton and Renaissance hotels.
