To start, there’s a truly excellent selection of seafood, including a NYY seafood tower, oyster and clam selection, ahi tuna tartare and jumbo shrimp cocktail – nothing you haven’t seen before, but all presented in ways that are likely much more appealing than you’ve seen before. Better believe it.
The appetizer line-up might surprise you with tangy shishito peppers or crispy octopus, but the steaks are why you come to The New York Yankees Steakhouse in Manhattan.
Superior steaks, including New York and Kansas City strip, NYY signature rib eye, and Delmonico for two – are USDA prime and aged to perfection. All can be enhanced with a range of sauces including Béarnaise or poivre, horseradish or blue cheese (if you must, but do keep in mind: the sauces are fantastic, and this meat is so mind-blowingly good, it may just convince you not to gild this particular lily).
The sides are particularly strong and surprising: corn with chili pepper and chorizo, broccolini and garlic chili, and duck fat potatoes.
