Tucker's Place St. Louis steakhouse

Great food and friendly bar and restaurant staff. I had the steak sandwich and it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The salad was perfect and the house dressing was delicious. The bartender provided excellent service. The prices are very affordable.

Tucker's has a great burger that they cook to your preference, you can't go wrong with it. The salads, pizza are tasty and the steaks have a nice charbroiled taste. Pictured is the cowboy cut steak, it was a little fatty for us. But it did not lack good flavor.

I had a side salad that was super fresh! Had eggs, cheese, red onion, tons of bacon! Paired it with a 1 lb. Baked potato that was great!! Enjoyed a Maker's Mark Mule that was amazing!!!!

We are new residents to St. Louis and were told that Tuckers would be a good place to go for our anniversary dinner. Unfortunately we were underwhelmed with Tuckers. The 14 oz. rib eye steak tasted like pot roast. I don't know if it was the seasoning or what. The huge baked potato was dry. My cocktail was weak. We were seated next to the bar which was loud. Our server was fine. Probably won't be back.

Fantastic! We stopped here on Sunday after a day at the Fox theater. Steaks were cooked to perfection and priced appropriately. Portions were great and service was phenomenal! This restaurant isn't built for big groups, but they worked it out and provided excellent service every step of the way! Will definitely return!

Tuckers have always been my go-to place. I have never had a run-in with an Employee with a nasty attitude until tonight! Whoever this head Hostess is needed a Reality check. I would go on to tell the story of what she did but it's way too much will be giving a business a call in the morning about her. Good steaks and friendly staff. I don't eat steaks out often because we can make a much tastier steak on our charcoal grill at home for half the price. But if we go out for a steak, this is the place!

The place has gone downhill. The phone recording says that the kitchen is open until 11pm on Fridays, the problem is that they stop seating guests for dinner at 9:30. The bar patrons are so loud and noisy that you can hear them on the second floor dining room. If you're going to charge thirty plus dollars for a steak, you should be willing to offer a pepper mill for that entree and the preceding salad. Otherwise, your just a sports bar with better meat choices.

We used to come here often when I lived in St Louis and always loved every aspect of it. Yesterday was the first time I had been in a few years. I have to say I was very disappointed with the bread. I remember it used to be like a Homemade Yeast Roll. VERY GOOD. Last night. NOT SO MUCH. The bread was like a Hamburger bun you'd get a 7/11. And not a fresh one.... PLEASE DON'T GET ME WRONG. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS EXCELLENT..... The Salad, Potato, and Steak was AMAZING,,,, But please bring the Bread back. It was BEYOND HORRIBLE last night... Hopefully someone will see this and make a change with the Bread. It might seem insignificant, to some, but it is not how I want to start an evening where I'm going to drop $100+ .for Dinner Thanks and please make this change.

I've been around a time or two when it comes to steaks. Most of the high-end steakhouses get it wrong when it comes to preparing it "black and blue". This place may be "laid back" and "casual"... but I would consider their steak within the top 3 I've ever eaten (and I live in Omaha). The staff is incredibly friendly and the service was great! If you're in St. Louis... take the time to eat here!!!
