The Tenderloin Room remodeled in 2019, but owner Bob Brazell made certain to keep the vintage accents intact, ensuring an authentic steakhouse experience. Carved wooden pillars and arches -- which once graced mansions demolished on historic Vandeventer Place -- remain as well as the bar’s stained-glass ceiling.

custom light fixtures, such as a waterfall chandelier at the entrance, added to evoke a more modern feel, plus other touches to make the venue's three dining rooms feel more open and spacious. The bar at The Tenderloin Room is always a popular after-work hangout.
The menu continues to be as classic as it gets. You'll find French onion soup and bone marrow on the appetizer menu. There's also classic Caesar salad and shrimp cocktail. And there are five distinct steak entrees, from the signature Pepperloin a la tenderloin to classic steak frites.
Additional offerings include roast chicken, coldwater lobster tail, and Gulf red snapper.
