Ruth’s Chris Steak House Minneapolis

A great place for steak and just good eats in general. I had lobster bisque, garlic mashed potatoes, crab cakes, steak, lobster, bread pudding, and it was all amazing. A bit on the expensive side so be prepared to spend roughly $100/person especially if you have drinks. The staff was very friendly! They have valet parking but there are also parking lots across the street on 2 sides of the building.

The steaks are great yeah thats a given. But the sweet potato casserole is the truth!! The Pecan crust is delicious and I don't normally eat pecans. Best lemon drop Martini i've ever had, and i try them every where i go. Go for the steaks stay for the sides! Everything was delicious and service was super fast.

The Husband brought me here as a surprise for my birthday. The staff made the experience very special by seating us in a booth with confetti and glitter spread at the edge of the table. The front of the house greeted us kindly and the waiter welcomed us warmly and made conversation. We opted out of ordering carbs, because there was a whole cake waiting at home. I can see why the waiter insisted on us to order some potatoes with our steaks, because they looked so bare. We did get asparagus and appetizers. Our steaks were the perfect portions for the night, as we had more things planned after dinner. I definitely recommend this spot for a nice romantic date night to escape from the kids. If you have a fancy outfit hiding in the closet, then bust it out for this place.

loved this place. food was amazing. prices are high but worth the experience once in a great while. my steak was under cooked but I also tried a 16 ounce bone in filled and ordered it medium so fully understood that, that thick of a steak it may be slightly under cooked the first time. they took it back immediately and had it at perfect temp in no time. free desert for my birthday as well that was a pleasant surprise.

Wonderful experience! The staff went above and beyond to make sure my experience was great. My boyfriend and I came last night to celebrate our anniversary and the staff placed cute anniversary decor on the table. The setting itself was very quiet and intimate. We ordered crab cakes which were by far the best crab cakes I’ve ever had and steaks. The steak was very delicious and seasoned to perfection. We also had the lobster Mac and cheese as well as the sweet potatoes casserole. Everything was made to perfection. I have no complaints at all. The portion sizes were pretty decent as well. Lastly, we ordered a few cocktails which were super flavorful! Excellent service overall. Ben, our waiter, was extremely friendly and personable. He was very attentive and made sure we were content. He made the experience even better! I would definitely recommend this place!

Upon receiving our drinks the waiter Dan, asked us if there was anything that Ruth’s Chris can do for us tonight. He never asked us if we had any questions about the menu, or if we were going to eat anything. He assumed based off the fact that we are a younger couple, that we are only there to hang out. I then asked what the creamy spinach was and he told me it’s something you eat with your main course. Much like all the side dishes I would assume. Needless to say, if you go here for dinner, and Dan is your server, I hope he doesn’t make you feel like you can’t afford to eat there. Still not sure what the creamy spinach side dish was and Dan if you read this, I think you’d do well at an outback because that’s the level of service you provide.

I brought my sister to Ruth Chris for her birthday. We had a wonderful time here. It was both our first time here. Scott and Maddie were assisting us. They were wonderful! Scott went over the history of the place and helped us with the menu. I had the New York strip. It was delicious and well done. The spicy shrimp appetizers were 10/10. Definitely try those. Desserts we tried were the creme brûlée and the classic cheesecake both amazing. I also had the cappuccino, it was great! Valet was quick and efficient also. Positive first experience, and I will be coming back !

Fabulous experience!! Jeff, our server, made the experience so pleasant. The steak… always the best. And cocktails were fun this time too! The raspberry martini and Manhattan were top notch.

Great food, great service. Went out on a last minute whim so we weren't dressed up. It was nice to go out for a nice dinner and still receive great service and not be treated bad because we weren't dressed up fancy. Amazing food, funny, friendly and knowledgeable server.
