Manny’s Steakhouse - Minneapolis
Two things are much heralded in Minneapolis: anything Prince related and the 85-day aged bone-in ribeeye at Manny’s Steakhouse. The latter is a new phenomenon, destined to become as iconic as the late, great Purple One.
Situated in The W Minneapolis, which is also home to a popular Prohibition-inspired cocktail lounge, Manny’s has received many accolades since opening in 2011. The Wine Spectator Award of Excellence is one as its wine list is comprehensive with a number of great selections by the glass.
But back to that 85-day aged bone-in ribeeye. It's aged for almost three months in a light, temperature and humidity-controlled environment, giving it a deep and intense flavor that's certain to be memorable. Other menu highlights include smoked steelhead trout that's paired with fingerling potato crisps and horseradish vinaigrette; Australian king prawns in a spicy tomato sauce; and broiled sablefish that's amped up with a sweet Thai chili sauce and hoisin-glazed baby carrots.
