South Africa meets the American south with Serengeti, a vibrant, kosher steakhouse concept situated in the Greenspring Shopping Center. The owners are also behind Baltimore restaurants Accents Grill, Accents Liquor Store, Cocoaccinos Cafe, and Sapori.

Over at Serengeti, the restaurant is open for lunch by appointment only and is closed on Fridays and Saturdays. When it's open for dinner, guests may relax in its classic steakhouse setting filled with an abundance of hardwood accents.

Menu highlights include smoked brisket smothered fries, peri peri-marinated ribeye, BBQ ribs, and smoked chicken. Those looking to get a taste of an authentic South African dish may opt for the bobotie, which consists of curried ground beef topped with a light egg custard and served with rice and beans.
