Old Hickory Steakhouse - Oxon Hill
The immense structure of the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center boasts a number of dining and drinking establishments under its roof. There's casual dining at National Pastime Sports Bar and Grill, seasonal American eats at Pienza Marketplace and cocktails on the Pose Rooftop Lounge.
Old Hickory Steakhouse, of course, is a bit more formal than its neighbors as its dining room offers the rich atmosphere of a Texas wine cellar. The menu showcases fine cuts of beef, fresh seafood and an extensive wine list. Many of the steaks and ingredients are locally grown, such as grassfed beef tenderloin, prime cowboy ribeye and the spice-rubbed Tomahawk for two.
Non-steak entrees are equally popular at this old-school steakhouse. They range from truffle risotto to the Dover sole that's topped with caper lemon brown butter.
