The Boston outpost for Ruth's Chris is situated in the historic City Hall building, where the interior has been thoughtfully and carefully restored in order to showcase the beauty of the venue. Among the many updates, the 19th century Beechwood architectural details have been renovated.
Ruth's Chris Steak House, in fact, boasts locations all over the country and it's known best for USDA prime steaks--from a filet to Porterhouse for two prepared tableside--cooked at 500 degrees. Specialty entrees include Caribbean lobster tail, chicken breast stuffed with garlic herb cheese, and lamb chops served with fresh mint.
In addition to this location being a popular spot for dinner, it's also a favorite for Ruth's Chris' "Sizzle Swizzle Swirl Happy Hour." The Monday through Friday program offers drinks and food at a discount, which includes $9 burgers, a crab BLT and more.
It all goes down in Curley's, an original 1860s vault that's been transformed into a cocktail lounge. Here, guests may also indulge in craft cocktails and a well-curated wine list. It's named in honor of legendary Boston Mayor James Michael Curley.
The restaurant is close to Opera House, Old South Meeting House, King's Chapel, The Boston Garden, Boston Common, the Freedom Trail and Orpheum Theater.
