Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse - Boston
Regional Italian foods with a focus on the grill are the draw at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, which opened its first location in 1985. Technically, owner Steve DiFillippo purchased a locally owned family restaurant called Davio’s and transformed it into his vision.
Since then, he's opened outposts in Foxborough, Mass.; Philadelphia; Atlanta; Chestnut Hill, Mass.; New York City and Lynnfield, Mass. Each location follows the same cuisine philosophy, but offers a distinct personality. The original location in Boston’s trendy Back Bay has now relocated to Park Square, and serves as an elegant oasis from the hustle and bustle just outside its doors.
The white tablecloths of its spacious, relaxed dining room serve as the perfect stage for Davio’s signature Northern Italian steaks, veal chops and handmade pasta creations. Additional theatrical flair is provided by a lively, open kitchen layout.
Steak offerings range from an eight-ounce prime flat iron to a 24-ounce prime natural aged bone-in ribeye chop. The best menu is the $22 three-course lunch menu offered Monday through Friday.
