Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse - Indianapolis
As with most locations of Fogo de Chão, the Indianapolis outpost is situated in a structure familiar to most in the heart of downtown. It's taken over the former Zipper Building -- which actually resembles a zipper -- and added the restaurant chain's distinct fire logo in a 12’ by 8’ stained glass window.
Read MoreFogo de Chão's happy hour offerings of $4 beers, $6 South American wines, and $8 Brazilian-inspired cocktails continue to be a draw at the restaurant. But it's the all-the-you-can-eat meat deal that's the real force here, of course.
For $55 each, guests may take part in the Fogo Churrasco Experience, which consists of continuous tableside service of signature cuts of fire-roasted meat, plus salad bar and Brazilian side dishes. Servers, or gauchos, in traditional Brazilian garb, visit each table with fire-roasted meats and they don't stop until you give them a signal. Choices include filet mignon, rib-eye, beef ribs, prime lamb steak, chicken, and spicy pork sausage. Guests may upgrade the experience for an additional charge to add servings of wagyu ribeye, New York strip or dry-aged Tomahawk ancho.
Don't fill up on too much meat because there's also a bountiful all-you-can-eat salad bar and traditional Brazilian side dishes (warm cheese bread, crispy polenta, mashed potatoes, and caramelized bananas) served family style.
For those who do not eat meat, guests may also do a la carte at Fogo de Chão. Choose from pan-seared salmon, Chilean sea bass, or a cauliflower "steak" that's oven roasted with a parmesan crust.
