Firebirds Wood Fired Grill Indianapolis steakhouse

I have been to several Firebirds and it is extermely difficult to believe they are a chain. This Indianapolis version is TOP NOTCH. Service was great. Food amazing. Great environment. Had the surf and turf medium rare and it was prepared to order perfectly. Highly recommend.

Good food and good service. I enjoy the bar as well. They have a great menu selection that offers variety without it coming across as a buffet. The steak salad and steak sandwich are the two top choices.

Stopped in for lunch, and what a great time. Service was excellent and the food was off the charts. Will definitely return. Dropping my review to 3 stars. This visit today was not great at all. Arrived just after 715, food didn't come out until nearly 820, and during that hour we sat there, we only got one drink refill. There was a period of about 15 minutes we didn't even see our waitress. The restaurant was not nearly busy enough to be this slow. Now, my food was pretty darn good, with the exception of my steak being way underdone. I don't send food back, so I ate my rare steak. The flavor was good, seemed like a decent cut of meat which is why I wasn't too concerned about it...but it wasnt the medium I ordered. Potatoes were perfect on this visit though. Anyhow, I'll likely go back again but this visit was pretty bad.

Very beautiful place to eat! Elegant wine setting sets a perfect mood! Price is great for the quality you're getting. Food is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend the steak. This place is a bit of a drive for me but very worth it! Hope to visit again in the near future!
