The two-story steakhouse sets the scene with dark wood paneling, white tablecloths, and plush carpets. Its location in the heart of Chicago’s nightlife hub makes it an ideal place to see and be seen.

No matter your beverage of choice, the steaks are the stars of the show at Mastro’s Steakhouse. Wet-aged for 28 days, the top grade steaks come in a variety in cuts with something to match any appetite. The dainty petite filet is the smallest at 8 ounces, while the double cut porterhouse weighs in at 48 ounces – a dish for true steak lovers. The “Chef’s Cut” New York strip and bone-in Kansas City strip are excellent options for a wholly fulfilling (get it?) steak dinner.

Beyond the steaks, the Mastro’s Steakhouse menu lists flavorful and thoughtful seafood and meat dishes that will round out your dinner. Sushi rolls, developed exclusively for Mastro’s Steakhouse, are a fresh and fun way to supplement your steak. Intriguing flavors are combined with the highest-quality fish to create the maguro lime roll, with tempura tuna, curry oil, ponzu sauce, and fresh avocado.

If steak isn’t on your mind, fish, lamb, and pork will make an excellent meal. Chilean sea bass, Scottish salmon, and grilled swordfish will tempt even the heartiest carnivore, or consider a serving of surf with Alaskan king crab legs, or perhaps the Maine lobster. The rack of lamb has “spot-on seasoning,” says “Time Out Chicago,” and the double cut pork chop is tender and perfectly cooked. Whatever you choose to order, you’ll end the meal in the happy haze of a satisfied stomach.
