Brought to Chicago in 2002, this authentic Southern Brazilian churrascaria serves an all-you-can-eat feast featuring 16 cuts of beef, lamb, pork and chicken with traditional Brazilian sides such as pao de queijo (warm cheese bread), crispy hot polenta, garlic mashed potatoes and caramelized bananas.
In 2012, it underwent a $750,000 renovation and expansion, adding private dining rooms, a restyled bar/lounge and an even more elaborate salad bar.

First time coming here and the endless supply of different varieties of meat was great. The salad bar was very good as well, just so much to eat. The ambiance was nice and our waiter Michael was one of the best waiters I have ever met in my life. So attentive, friendly and kept checking on us to see that our night was great! Will definitely be back and most surely can’t wait to bring out of town family and friends here. Great job Fogo, finally a restaurant in Chicago worth visiting over and over.

My partner and I came here for our Valentine's Day celebration, and it exceeded our expectations. Johanna was absolutely amazing! She truly made our experience so spectacular. We rarely go out and she made us feel so comfortable and special. Truly the best! We never had to ask for a thing because she was already on it. The environment was so romantic for this rare occasion. Edit: we came back 5/12/22 and Carlos gave us an excellent experience! We love when we can depend on stellar service every time we come back!

My visit today at the Chicago location was excellent! The salad bar was clean and the selection is always top tier…. and that’s not including the endless selection of meat. On that part, I must say everything was cooked to perfection and I really enjoyed my entire meal. Although, it wouldn’t have been possible with our wonderful server Angie!! She made the experience a night to remember, she was so nice and went above and beyond. I’ve worked in hospitality and I wish we had people like her. Especially given that she appeared to have a lot of tables and still took excellent care of us. Next time we visit I’m asking for A-N-G-I-E!!

I’ve been to Fogo many times and always have a great experience. It’s hands down my favorite restaurant but this week’s experience really stands out, largely due to the incredible service provided by Paloma. She was AMAZING… so charming, thoughtful, and attentive. My friend and I were both highly impressed and are still talking about how great she was and how lovely she made the experience. Thanks Paloma!
